Joshua Romney, President

 

Josh founded Pierpont Management in 2012 to better manage a portfolio of wonder properties. He serves as a board member of the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Development and as an executive board member at the Romney Institute at Brigham Young University. He earned an undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in 2000 and a master’s degree from Harvard Business School in 2005. He provides key leadership with Pierpont Management and is heavily involved in the day to day operations and long term strategy. His insights are critical to increasing the profitability of each property and maximizing the returns to owners.

 

Anthon Stauffer, Director of Acquisitions

 

Anthon has over 14 years of experience in commercial real estate and has acquired or sold nearly $500 million in properties.  His expertise is in multi-family housing and agricultural/recreational land holdings.  He has extensive experience working complex transactions with banks, distressed sellers, large institutions, and brokers.  Anthon’s passion is investing in recreational fishing properties and has developed an expertise in fish habitat development. Anthon graduated from the Brigham Young University Marriott School of Management in 1999.  With his years of real estate experience and as a principle real estate broker, Anthon has the ability to understand what makes properties great investments and how to maximize their profitability. 

 

Misty Deakin, Director of Management

 

As the Director of Management for the Pierpont Management team, Misty focuses on monitoring and improving each properties occupancy, collections and delinquencies. Previously the Regional Property Manager - Vice President with Millwood Management where she oversaw the finance and construction management of numerous multi-faming housing apartment communities.  She works closely with the on-site management teams to maximize the asset’s return and provide training and support.  She earned an Associates degree in Business Management and Accounting from Phillips Junior College. Additionally, she holds numerous certifications including the National Compliance Professional designation and a Rent Roll Support Team Trainer.

Becky Tolman, Assistant Director of Management

Becky attended Brigham Young University where she received a degree in Family Science and was community manager of multiple student housing residences.  She works closely with the on-site community managers, and her superior relationship and communication skills make her crucial to the Peirpont Management team.

Jennifer Young, Controller

Jennifer is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of Utah School of Business and well-established accounting manager with vast experience in real estate accounting practices.  Her strong drive, collaborative nature, and clear business vision help her provide perspective and achieve company objectives.
